Speakeasy Night Behind closed doors, far from the obvious, swing comes back to life. On Friday, we transform the evening into a speakeasy of the 1920s and 1930s. The Hornsgatan Ramblers from Stockholm, one of the most influential bands on the international swing scene, will be on stage. Their sound combines subtle arrangements with the raw pulse of the underground – music that carries without being loud and develops depth the longer you listen to it. Speakeasies were places beyond the permissible, created for expression, encounter, and movement. This spirit lives on this evening: full of energy – palpable in the room, on the dance floor, and in the interplay between music and audience. Timeless. Moving. Forbiddenly good. We take our inspiration for the evening from the wardrobe of the 1920s and 1930s, wearing hats, feather boas, gloves, pearl and watch chains, bow ties and flapper dresses, suspenders and long cigarette holders!
